MIXED MEAT SOUP @ 1st TOP FOODCOURT, JALAN ANG CHENG HO

This food court is obscured from the main roads, Jalan Petanak, Jalan Padungan and Jalan Ang Cheng Ho. It is accessible by smaller lanes of Jalan Ang Cheng Ho - Lorong 7 and its other tributaries. You can't miss it.... it's one big warehouse kind of structure among all the shop houses - next door is 100% Discount Store.

I have eaten from this guy (simply call him "Thau-Eà" - head, kapala) since Carpenter Street days, when he was part of the team (mother and sisters) selling Kolo Mee at Lau Ya Kheng. Now he has his own family helping him out. The food tastes the same as the mother's since he was the one doing the cooking then.

I always order a Mee Kosong (plain noodle) to go with the
Chainē (the works). The variety of mixed meat is not as much as Min Joo's; but here you get congealed pig's blood cake. One thing for sure, this place has ample seating and parking space compared to Lau Ya Kheng. And there are a lot more stalls to choose from.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

As the name implies, it's all about nothing! Kongkaying is like grasping in the air - more like hot air with occasional fartulence. Hopefully, something aromatic will come out of it! If not...
