SEE CHEW NGAU HO @ SARAWAK CLUB'S CAR PARK, KUCHING

Remember the club was reduced to a cinder? Well, the car park is the only usable structure that can accommodate some seating capacity. For some it's still exclusivity even if you're dining in the dumps!

The food served are those found in the old main hall - from local fares to sandwiches and steaks. The thing about this club is that the price of food and drinks are comparable to those found in your favorite local stall or coffee shop. But then you get the bragging rights to boast that you dine in the premier club in this part of the world.

The Cantonese Koay Teow I had is rice noodle fried with beef, onion and capsicum in black bean sauce. Whoever was frying this dish didn't take the saltiness of the black bean into account, and still add the normal amount of salt to a regular fry. It was a bit too salty. And it's like hawker's food - sans of all presentation.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

As the name implies, it's all about nothing! Kongkaying is like grasping in the air - more like hot air with occasional fartulence. Hopefully, something aromatic will come out of it! If not...
