ECONOMY RICE @ HUAN LOKE CAFÉ, JALAN PADUNGAN, KUCHING

It's not about the economy, but more on the economic situation of the pocket. Though adjectively wrong, that's what it's called here - economy rice. It's cheap eat, but can be expensive as you pile in more stuff onto the plate. What I had cost RM3, consisting of fried bitter gourd with eggs, fried firm tofu with pork and woodear fungus, and small salted fish.

This corner coffee shop beside Tun Jugah's front entrance caters to the lunch crowd of the golden triangle. This is my first time here in its present incarnation after the fire. It previously housed the once famous Ah Suan's chicken rice. The choice of food is limited, but looks appetizing.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

As the name implies, it's all about nothing! Kongkaying is like grasping in the air - more like hot air with occasional fartulence. Hopefully, something aromatic will come out of it! If not...
