LUNCH @ CAFÉ 919, JALAN TAMAN SENG GOON, KUCHING

Assam Curry Chicken

This post has been festering in the unpublished section for months (notice the handphone quality photos). What better to way get rid of it than to dump it on a supposably non-event Tuesday.

Had this inexpensive precooked meals at this eatery near Hui Sing Garden. The claypot dishes cost RM3.50, and the "Red" rice is 80 sen per plate (decent deal). The veg. and egg were pre-cooked and displayed on chaffing dishes. The claypots dishes were heated up, bubbling hot on a stove before being served. The whole meal for five inclusive of drinks was under RM30. If you're not into jostling with the crowd, this might be your ticket to gastronomical bliss, or something like that.

Too-Kar (Braised Pork Leg)

Too-Toe (Pig's Stomach) Soup

Minced Meat Omelette

Fried Kai-Lan

ABOUT THIS BLOG

As the name implies, it's all about nothing! Kongkaying is like grasping in the air - more like hot air with occasional fartulence. Hopefully, something aromatic will come out of it! If not...
