STEAMED DISHES @ HOME MADE SPECIALITIES, JALAN ANG CHENG HO, KUCHING

Pig's Tripe Soup

This has got to be one of the more expensive steamed pots from a coffee shop I've encountered so far. The above pig's tripe soup costs RM6. You can similar dish for RM4.50 to RM5 elsewhere. And the steamed minced pork costs RM6. It measures a mere 4" in diameter and about ¼" in depth. No doubt the minced pork is fully loaded with salted fish'; you can taste it in every bite. The chilli padi packs a wallop of a punch! Despite of its price tag, this place has its fair share of customers.

The Steamed Meat Before Being Eaten

This shop is at the end of the second block as you enter from Petanak side.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

As the name implies, it's all about nothing! Kongkaying is like grasping in the air - more like hot air with occasional fartulence. Hopefully, something aromatic will come out of it! If not...
