PENANG LAKSA @ PENANG SEAFOOD, JALAN TAN SRI ONG KEE HUI, KUCHING

This place is getting to be a piece of Penang... with the addition of Penang Laksa, you'd think life would be complete, wouldn't you? I know there are a few other places that you can find stuff like this, but not the camaraderie as you'd get from this half Penangnite couple.

Not a lot of Sarawakian appreciates this sort of Laksa. So putting out a sour dish like this is sort of like putting out the hae-ko (shrimp paste) and hope flies will gather. So this Saturday's output is still on a trial basis to determine the public response.

With few options on the availability of this dish in Kuching so there isn't much you can complain... you just take it whatever way it comes. Besides, my legs go rubbery on sour dishes, and this is no exception.

there's or was a lady at the old jolly bee, 3rd mile central park that sells it. don't know the situation now. alex boh at jln. song has it on certain days, which i can't keep tab on. jojo at westmoore has it as well. last time dennis place used to serve it before he got his 15 minutes of fame.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

As the name implies, it's all about nothing! Kongkaying is like grasping in the air - more like hot air with occasional fartulence. Hopefully, something aromatic will come out of it! If not...

May the Farce be With You!
