This is the latest addition of food eatery in town... fuel very much on concept. From its ad., it harps on its mobile roof (something like the shifting crater in "You Only Live Twice"), and some fancy pancy artwork in its signages. Yes, it tries very hard to incorporate everything, even the kitchen sink.Every sort of hawker stall you can think of, you'd be hard pressed not to find one there. It would be a stretch to say that you'd find everything under the moon. I suppose the moon is what the owner's aiming for with the "first" retractable roof to be installed. Unfortunately, the year-end downpour prevented us from having the moonlit experience.
Having all the imaginable hawkers' food under one roof is one thing, whether they taste good is another; sure, they have some names of repute (Green Road Kolo Mee), and some dubious ones (Carpenter Street's Too-Kar P'ng), and some darn right awful ones like the Char Kueh below ( the Kueh had been stabbed to death, so much so that you can't even prick it with the toothpicks), and some familiar ones like the Mee Siam from Dong Guan area. If you can find a parking space, this place is worth a visit for curiosity's sake.
