The Roti Canai is the cheapest item here beside sky juice. At a mere 80 sen, it will fill you up if you are a light eater. It comes with vegetable curry (background). The Teh Tarik Peng (Iced Pulled Tea) is even more expensive than the piece of bread and curry. If you stick to plain coffee or tea without milk, your tab will come under RM2.Of course, there are other items to be had if you order from the back kitchen, plus ready cooked meals on chaffing dishes situated at the front. The Mee Jawa (no satay though) from the front stall we ordered isn't bad as well. The Nasi Byrani (from another visit) is RM5.
The place is clean and well ventilated; it has even got an 'A' grade from the council's grading of eatries. This is a Malay coffee shop, and we were the only 3 Chings in the fully packed place of Malays; if all hell breaks loose, we'll head for the police station across the street, but this ain't West Malaysia.
