BREAKFAST @ TAMEN LOH CAFÉ, JALAN KAI PENG, SIBU

Curry Noodle

While waiting for the bank to open, we popped by this coffee shop next door for a bite. The other 3 or 4 stalls selling different type of food, mostly noodles. All the items here are from one particular lady.

The curry noodle tasted so-so and light in the spice department, but no complain on the chicken served. The Sui-Mai (dumpling) was soft with no distinct taste that will register on your mind. The Loh Mee is a bit different from the usual than it was sans of starch and egg slurry; it was more like a watery soup with the braised flavor of the pork.

Loh Mee

Sadly this area has been deprived of the good food it once had. Don't know why business gravitates elsewhere even though this area has a cluster of banks.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

As the name implies, it's all about nothing! Kongkaying is like grasping in the air - more like hot air with occasional fartulence. Hopefully, something aromatic will come out of it! If not...
