SEAFOOD NOODLE @ YONG SIONG CAFÉ, JALAN LANANG, SIBU

I was told the chef/proprietor of this place formally worked at Ming Kong, Sibu's over-rated expensive shrimp noodle shop. I didn't pay for this meal, thus I'm not privy to comment on its price ratio of the food in relations to its yumminess. However, there's a lot of goodness that can be poured on it yumminess. Simply delectable!!! For the uninitiated, this is how noodles are done in this town... the Foochow way.

This coffee shop is opposite the Peng Loong Distillery... I pass this place often, but never knew it serves one hecka, heckabowlo'noodle... at times like these you really need the locals to point out the obvious. However, if you're like STP, who uses his Garden Hotel as a yardstick to compare all food, great and small, you'll end up looking just like him... young and evergreen.

Can't figure out where this is. Not so familiar with Lanang Road...as it's the other side of town. Will go and hunt for it one of these days. Do I talk about Garden so much? Not as much as Ruby, I'm sure!

it's after the roundabout after ngee sing furniture (coming from town), shrimp processing factory, after kongtung kay (canton lane).

ABOUT THIS BLOG

As the name implies, it's all about nothing! Kongkaying is like grasping in the air - more like hot air with occasional fartulence. Hopefully, something aromatic will come out of it! If not...
