NONAH

"Nonah or The Ghost of Gunung Mulu"
coming soon

Margaret Lim's latest addition to the Payah-Series, Nonah or The Ghost of Gunung Mulu, will be launched on November 22, 2008.

In this adventure, Nonah, a Muslim girl from the coastal fishing village of Santubong, unwillingly joins her mother and father, both teachers at Payah's school deep in the heart of the rainforest. She quickly becomes friends with Payah, and in a writing contest they win a trip to Gunung Mulu National Park.

"Through the eyes and hearts of Payah and her friends, including newcomer Nonah, Margaret Lim shares with us her love and fascination for Sarawak - the rich heritage of the land, her people and their culture. It is easy to get drawn into the world of the spirited and courageous young heroines in their latest scrape, oops, adventure, to save the Paphiopedilum Sanderianum! Parents will enjoy sharing with their children this entertaining tale, so vivid in its imagery. I did!" - Carolyn Choo, Head, Department of Early Childhood Education, SEGi College, Subang Jaya.

All proceeds from the sale of Payah, Four Eyes and Precious Jade & Turnip Head and Nonah or The Ghost of Gunung Mulu on the launching eventwill be donated to the Sarawak Children's Cancer Society.
Everyone is invited, so bring your family, relatives and friends along on Saturday 22nd November, 2008, 2.30pm at Jambu Restaurant and Lounge (32 Jln Crookshank, Kuching, Sarawak)!

ABOUT THIS BLOG

As the name implies, it's all about nothing! Kongkaying is like grasping in the air - more like hot air with occasional fartulence. Hopefully, something aromatic will come out of it! If not...
