WOON LAM VISIT #4 @ JALAN SONG THIAN CHEOK, KUCHING

Braised Chicken With Peanuts

Something new, but mostly old dishes marked another dinner at this old faithful. The braised duck above was called scallops braised duck, but there wasn't a single dried scallop to be found. It was good though, with the sauce penetrating the the tender meat, which was about to fall off the bones.

Fried Spinach With Garlic

Black Pepper Pork Spareribs

This was another dish to note. Real spareribs, and not just some pork chops that were passed off as Pai-Kut-Ong (spareribs king). The tangy sauce will have you sucking off the bones. RM54 for the entire meal.

Yam Basket With Mixed Vegetables

ABOUT THIS BLOG

As the name implies, it's all about nothing! Kongkaying is like grasping in the air - more like hot air with occasional fartulence. Hopefully, something aromatic will come out of it! If not...
