
After doing some shopping of meat and veg. at the Queen Victoria market, we pop by this quiet street for a bite of breakfast. I notice the gentleman at the nearby table ordering a bottle of wine. "Isn't it a bit early?" goes through my mind without realizing it is past noon already after spending 2 hours at the market. I haven't quite adjust to the "not-quite-bright" daytime. So this is basically brunch for us at this quaint little place, which has quite a following.So instead of the usual kopi-o peng, I have the latte to go with my Florentine eggs, which is 2 halves of English muffins topped with bacon and spinach with 2 poached eggs topped with hollandaise sauce.
The avocado eggs has a similar set-up except that it is 2 halves of English muffins topped with bacon and avocado with 2 poached eggs topped with hollandaise sauce.
