COOKING ON THE CHEAP SIDE #7: SPAGHETTI

Mushroom ($2), Eggplant ($1.13), Carrot (16¢), 1 Can Diced Tomatoes ($1), 250 gm. Minced Beef ($1.25), 3 cloves Garlic (10¢), 1 large Onion (30¢), 4 Dried Chillies (20¢), 2 Tsp. Italian mixed herbs (30¢)

I knew I got the minced beef cheap the first time, but wasn't too sure how cheap it was. So a couple of weeks later I went back to restock. it's $5 for kilo! I didn't get sick the first time eating them, and they looked pretty lean. I have more vegetables in the sauce than meat. The whole pot is good for 2 meals (4 large plates).

ABOUT THIS BLOG

As the name implies, it's all about nothing! Kongkaying is like grasping in the air - more like hot air with occasional fartulence. Hopefully, something aromatic will come out of it! If not...
